NBA’s Bryant Scores 81 Points!

Kobe Bryant surprised everyone last Sunday on the NBA game played by Los Angeles Lakers and Toronto Raptors. The controversial player performed better than ever scoring 81 points, only toped by Wilt Chamberlain’ s 100 points total, 44 years ago.As the NBA’s leading scorer affirms, he didn’t expect this to happen, “not even in my dreams” he said. His teammate Lamar Odom said the 27year-old was incredible and remarkable. Almost 19 000 fans chanting “MVP, MVP” as he was about to make 2 free throws with 43.4 seconds remaining for his final points. Bryant scored 27 points during the third quarter and 28 on the fourth.Bryant left to a standing ovation with 4.2 seconds remaining, having shot 28-of-46 from the floor, including 7-of-13 from 3-point range, and 18-of-20 from the foul line.Only four players had ever scored more than 70 points in one game: Wilt Chamberlain, Elgin Baylor, David Thompson and David Robinson. Michael Jordan’s career high was 69.The final score for this game was 122-104, a proud victory for Kobe Bryant on his 10th NBA season.
